Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000k

About the Position
Our client, a mission-driven group, is investing in a major transformation of their digital commerce platform and is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and build the next generation of customer-facing digital experiences.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Design scalable integrations across commerce, payment, CRM, and third-party platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing customer-facing products.
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and promote engineering best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and software quality.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Must have expertise in full-stack development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience building and designing RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing cloud-based applications in AWS.
- Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and modern development practices.
- Experience supporting or building commerce, e-commerce, subscription, payment, or transaction-based platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Next.js, or similar modern web frameworks.
- Experience integrating third-party platforms and APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience working in customer-facing digital product environments.
- Interest in AI-assisted software development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Passion for mission-driven organizations, arts, culture, education, or nonprofit initiatives.
