Job Description
Job Title: Portfolio Manager
Duration: 3 month contract
Location: Milwaukee, WI Hybrid
Pay: $81-85/Hr.
The Portfolio Manager will oversee a portfolio of Corporate Technology initiatives and ensure projects are aligned with business priorities. This role focuses on budget management, vendor relationships, contracts, procurement, governance, and stakeholder communication.
The Portfolio Manager will work closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business leaders to ensure the portfolio operates efficiently and stays on track.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of technology initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Track and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Manage vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), renewals, and performance.
- Coordinate purchase orders, invoice approvals, and procurement activities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the Corporate Technology organization.
- Coordinate communication with business stakeholders and leadership.
- Support governance meetings, portfolio reviews, and executive reporting.
- Track and manage portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- Help identify opportunities to improve portfolio processes and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, vendor management, or IT business management.
- Experience with:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Vendor and contract management
- SOW management
- Procurement and purchase orders
- Stakeholder management
- Governance and reporting
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
