Role: Quality Control/Testing - II
Rate: 28-33/Hr DOE
Location: Needham, MA
Onsite
We are seeking a Quality Control professional to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will focus on developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting testing and sampling, identifying root causes of defects, and using data-driven methods to improve product and process quality.
The ideal candidate has experience with quality control methodologies, statistical process control, testing procedures, and root cause analysis, along with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement quality control processes to measure product or service compliance with established design specifications.
- Develop and conduct sampling, inspection, and testing procedures.
- Analyze quality data to identify defects, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis and participate in corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve processes.
- Document test results, findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and develop practical solutions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality processes and recommend improvements as needed.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, testing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and statistical process control techniques.
- Experience developing and executing sampling and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Ability to interpret quality data and identify trends or process issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
