Job Description:
Our firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals. This role will support an assigned team, provide backup support as needed, and interact professionally with internal and external clients. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
· Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, resolve conflicts, and prioritize commitments
· Coordinate domestic and international travel and prepare expense reports
· Support the billing process, including reviewing and editing prebills
· Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries and manage competing priorities
· Coordinate conflict checks and new client/matter intake
· Maintain contact management systems and organized electronic and paper files
· Complete daily time entries accurately and on schedule
· Draft, prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, presentations, and occasional court documents
· Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
· Support general office needs, including scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks
Qualifications
· 1+ year of administrative support experience, preferably in a law firm environment
· Experience with corporate transactions such as M&A or EC/VC is a plus
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
· Strong client service and interpersonal skills
· Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and work effectively as part of a team
· Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
· Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed
