We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join an Alternative Investment Client Services - Administrator Oversight team. In this role, you will work closely with fund administrators, portfolio managers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate service-related activities and help deliver an optimal client experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee investor transactions in private equity or hedge fund vehicles to ensure accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managers
- Evaluate trade waivers and correction requests from sales teams
- Oversee the facilitation of investor trade settlement
- Assist with oversight of vendor relationships, including fund administrators and transfer agents
- Oversee and coordinate resolution of product servicing issues and errors
- Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements
- Strengthen internal controls related to accounting and operational processes
- Improve the collection, dissemination, and maintenance of product data attributes
- Lead ad hoc projects within the Shareholder Services organization
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exchange information with appropriate stakeholders to complete work effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, ask effective questions, and identify practical solutions
- Ability to recognize personal strengths and areas for development
- Strong team-player mentality with the ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of financial services experience
- Knowledge of the alternative investment industry
- Experience working with fund administrators, transfer agents, or other financial-services vendors
- Experience with private equity, hedge funds, or other alternative investment products
