Job Description

Pay 28-33 per hour
2 month contract  could go longer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join an Alternative Investment Client Services - Administrator Oversight team. In this role, you will work closely with fund administrators, portfolio managers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate service-related activities and help deliver an optimal client experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee investor transactions in private equity or hedge fund vehicles to ensure accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managers
  • Evaluate trade waivers and correction requests from sales teams
  • Oversee the facilitation of investor trade settlement
  • Assist with oversight of vendor relationships, including fund administrators and transfer agents
  • Oversee and coordinate resolution of product servicing issues and errors
  • Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements
  • Strengthen internal controls related to accounting and operational processes
  • Improve the collection, dissemination, and maintenance of product data attributes
  • Lead ad hoc projects within the Shareholder Services organization

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exchange information with appropriate stakeholders to complete work effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, ask effective questions, and identify practical solutions
  • Ability to recognize personal strengths and areas for development
  • Strong team-player mentality with the ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of financial services experience
  • Knowledge of the alternative investment industry
  • Experience working with fund administrators, transfer agents, or other financial-services vendors
  • Experience with private equity, hedge funds, or other alternative investment products
