The Digital Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Project is a strategic, multi-year initiative supporting the station's SLR Program and long-term operational excellence. This large-scale modernization effort will replace and modernize safety-related and non-safety-related analog systems through the implementation of advanced digital technologies, while transforming the main control room with state-of-the-art flat-panel displays and digital control interfaces.
The project will be executed in carefully planned phases over the next decade, balancing innovation with operational reliability and minimizing impacts to plant operations. This position will contribute to the planning, engineering, licensing, construction, and implementation of next-generation nuclear plant technologies designed to improve plant performance, maintainability, and operator effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Support project management activities for the Digital I&C SLR modernization program.
- Coordinate engineering, construction, technical, licensing, and project activities across multiple project phases.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, construction personnel, technical specialists, project stakeholders, and plant operations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support implementation of digital technologies within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
- Ensure project activities are executed in accordance with applicable nuclear, safety, quality, engineering, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear project status updates and communicate issues, milestones, and schedule impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support planning and execution of work while minimizing impacts to ongoing plant operations.
- Coordinate project activities associated with modernization of safety-related and non-safety-related I&C systems and main control room technologies.
- Perform other project management and technical duties as required.
Experience
- 7-8+ years of industry experience in construction, engineering, finance, project management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated project management experience.
- Experience working in the nuclear industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, technical projects, or skilled trades is preferred.
- Experience working in a highly regulated or complex industrial environment is highly desirable.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Skilled trade certification may be considered in lieu of a degree based on relevant experience.
- PMP certification preferred.

- Highly regulated technical environments
- Panel interview conducted via Microsoft Teams with video or in person.
- Target timeline for interviews and hiring decision: 2-4 weeks.
Overtime may be available based on project needs; advance approval is required for any overtime worked.
