HIE Integration Engineer
Pay rate:
$100/hr - $110/hr (DOE)
Duration: 2 months
Location: Remote

The Planet Group is seeking a skilled and temporary Data Extraction Specialist to help us extract data from our current Intersystems Health Information Exchange (HIE) system, transform it into the Epic Care Everywhere CCD format, and load it into OnBase. This is a remote, short-term position requiring expertise in HIE systems, data extraction and transformation, and familiarity with Epic CCD formats.

Responsibilities: 

  • Extract data from Intersystems HIE.
  • Transform extracted data into Epic CCD format (specifically CCD.XSLT transformations)
  • Load transformed data into Onbase.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the extraction and transformation process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and ensure successful integration.
  • Document processes and workflows for future reference.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems, particularly Intersystems.
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Familiarity with Epic Care Everywhere CCD format.
  • Experience with Onbase or similar document management systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • high school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
