Introduction
We are partnering with a rapidly growing, privately owned engineer-to-order manufacturing organization seeking an ERP Systems Manager to take ownership of its Epicor Kinetic environment and play a critical role in a brand-new ERP implementation.

This is a unique opportunity for an Epicor professional who wants more than a traditional ERP administration role. You will have the opportunity to help shape the system from the ground up, influence business processes, work directly with executive leadership, and become the internal subject matter expert for Epicor Kinetic.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this person will partner across Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Project Management, and Operations to ensure the ERP supports the company's continued growth. The organization has experienced significant expansion and expects this position to eventually build and lead an ERP/Enterprise Applications team.

If you're an Epicor professional looking for ownership, autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to build something from the ground up, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Own the administration, configuration, optimization, security, workflows, dashboards, and overall performance of the Epicor Kinetic ERP system.
  • Play a key role in the upcoming Epicor Kinetic implementation, partnering with implementation consultants and business stakeholders from kickoff through go-live and beyond.
  • Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, and Project Management to translate business needs into effective ERP solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, improved data accuracy, and increased ERP adoption across the organization.
  • Manage Epicor upgrades, enhancements, testing, change control, releases, and production deployments.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, BAQs, reports, and business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making.
  • Manage integrations between Epicor and other business applications, including APIs and third-party systems.
  • Provide advanced user support, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and ERP best-practice guidance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Epicor, implementation partners, and outside consultants.
  • Establish ERP governance, standards, documentation, and a long-term development roadmap.
  • Build toward eventually developing and leading an internal ERP/Enterprise Applications team as the organization continues to grow.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience administering, supporting, or managing an ERP system.
  • Direct hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and business operations.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical ERP solutions.
  • Experience supporting accounting and finance processes within an ERP environment.
  • Strong communication, project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
  • Experience in engineer-to-order or project-based manufacturing.
  • Epicor implementation experience, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SQL, BAQs, BPMs, Epicor dashboards, REST APIs, Power BI, or other reporting and integration technologies.
  • Experience supporting government contracting or DCAA/FAR-compliant environments.
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ERP security, access controls, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with production scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, quality, and project accounting.
  • Experience working with organizations supporting the Department of Defense or Department of Energy.

Why This Opportunity?
This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of a major ERP transformation. You'll have a direct voice in how Epicor Kinetic is implemented, configured, adopted, and optimized, while working closely with leadership and having the opportunity to eventually build your own ERP team. For the right Epicor professional, this role offers the rare combination of technical ownership, business visibility, career growth, and the opportunity to build something from scratch.
