Job Description

Our client seeking an experienced Oracle Argus / Pharmacovigilance (PV) Service Lead to support a global biopharmaceutical organization within a regulated R&D application environment. This is a 6-month remote contract with possible extension.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that will serve as the primary U.S.-based resource for Oracle Argus Safety and related Pharmacovigilance applications.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of Oracle Argus expertise, Pharmacovigilance domain knowledge, GxP experience, and application support/service delivery experience.

This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, application specialists, offshore/global delivery teams, and service leadership to ensure critical PV applications remain stable, compliant, and responsive to business needs.

The successful candidate does not need to be the deepest technical Oracle developer or administrator. However, they must have enough hands-on Argus knowledge to confidently assess issues, troubleshoot when needed, and provide leadership during situations where immediate U.S.-based support is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Argus Safety in an enterprise environment.
  • Solid understanding of Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety business processes.
  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or broader life sciences industry.
  • Experience supporting applications within a GxP-regulated environment.
  • Previous experience with production application support, application maintenance, or managed services.
  • Working knowledge of service management concepts such as:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Service Request Management
    • Escalation Management
    • SLA/service-level expectations
  • Ability to troubleshoot Oracle Argus issues and provide hands-on support when required.
  • Experience working with offshore/global delivery teams.
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to understand both the technical issue and the underlying Pharmacovigilance business impact.
  • Comfortable operating independently as a senior SME and escalation point within a distributed team.
