Job Description:
We're seeking a seasoned Workday professional with deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence to join our client's delivery team. This position is ideal for someone who can operate independently with clients, translate complex workforce requirements into effective Workday solutions, and take ownership of major functional deliverables.
You'll work across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. You'll also play an important role in developing team capability and helping shape how we deliver Workday services.
- Own the delivery of Time Tracking and Absence functionality within complex Workday programs.
- Translate client processes and workforce policies into scalable Workday designs and configurations.
- Facilitate requirements sessions, solution reviews, and working meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
- Help clients evaluate alternatives, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions about their Workday environment.
- Take accountability for functional deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and issue resolution within your area.
- Establish strong working relationships with client teams and communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.
- Provide guidance and coaching to other consultants while contributing specialist knowledge to the wider team.
- Assist with project planning, effort estimation, proposals, and other business development activities.
- Support continuous improvement of delivery methods, tools, and internal consulting practices.
- Participate in post-production support or optimization activities when required.
- Active Workday Time Tracking and Absence certification.
- 3+ years of Workday implementation experience, with a minimum of three end-to-end implementations.
- Recent, hands-on experience configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence, including substantial configuration exposure during the past three years.
- Experience working with an established Workday implementation methodology, such as Your Way, Launch, or Launch Express.
- Strong knowledge of Time Tracking, Absence, and the broader HR/payroll ecosystem.
- Experience independently owning functional deliverables or a significant area of an implementation.
- Ability to lead requirements discussions, explain complex concepts clearly, and influence client decisions.
- Strong consulting skills, including problem solving, stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and senior stakeholders.
