Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on IT Team Lead to oversee daily technology operations and support a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring reliable system performance, exceptional end-user support, and continuous improvement of IT services.
The ideal candidate will lead frontline IT support efforts, mentor technical staff, coordinate infrastructure projects, and partner with leadership to maintain a secure and efficient technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to expand leadership responsibilities while remaining actively involved in technical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Supervise and support IT technicians, including scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
- Provide escalation support for complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate maintenance, upgrades, backups, and deployments.
- Manage hardware, software, and IT asset inventories.
- Support desktop, mobile device, and enterprise application environments.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts.
- Help maintain IT security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and security initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system records.
- Promote a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on delivering outstanding user support.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, networking, and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Understanding of IT security practices and technology governance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
