Brand Marketer

Location: Beaverton, OR
Contract length: ~8 months
Schedule: Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (WFH Fridays)
Pay: $47-52.67/hr, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for a Brand Marketer to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 8-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working remotely on Fridays.

Brand Marketer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in consumer marketing, brand strategy, integrated marketing, or product marketing within a leading consumer brand and/or creative agency
  • Proven ability to orchestrate complex, cross-functional marketing plans--connecting consumer insight, strategy, creative development, production, and execution across owned, earned, and paid ecosystems
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies from consumer insight through creative execution
  • A track record of making teams stronger through collaboration, leadership, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to uncover meaningful consumer tensions and translate them into compelling brand ideas
  • Exceptional creative taste and a demonstrated ability to partner effectively with creative teams to produce world-class work
  • Expertise writing clear, inspiring creative briefs that unlock impactful ideas
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across creative, digital, social, retail, communications, sports marketing, and product
  • Strong understanding of production processes across multiple marketing channels and the ability to guide work from concept through launch
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within large, global matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Outstanding communication, presentation design, and storytelling skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Passion for athletes, running, sport, and culture, with a deep curiosity for consumer behavior and emerging trends

Brand Marketer Description:

  • Lead the development of integrated brand strategies and marketing campaigns that inspire athletes around the world
  • Work across product launches, seasonal storytelling, and cultural moments to help define how running shows up across every consumer touchpoint
  • Develop insight-driven brand strategies rooted in deep consumer understanding, cultural trends, and business priorities
  • Write inspiring creative briefs that unlock breakthrough ideas and set a high creative standard from the start
  • Lead integrated marketing plans from strategy through execution across digital, social, retail, communications, sports marketing, partnerships, and experiential
  • Partner closely with Creative, Product, Marketplace, Consumer Insights, Digital, Retail Marketing, Sports Marketing, Communications, and Geography teams to bring campaigns to life globally
  • Champion creative excellence throughout the process by providing thoughtful feedback and protecting the integrity of the brand vision
  • Manage multiple concurrent campaigns while driving alignment across stakeholders and ensuring flawless execution
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear consumer narratives that create demand and strengthen brand affinity
  • Help identify new opportunities where Nike can authentically intersect with sport, culture, and community
  • Present work confidently to senior leadership and influence decisions through clear storytelling and strategic thinking
