Length: 6-month contract
Pay: $59/hr - $64/hr (DOE)
We are seeking a React Native Developer to join the Digital Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance mobile applications that improve the customer digital experience. The ideal candidate has strong React Native expertise, experience building applications for both iOS and Android, and enjoys working in a collaborative Agile environment.
Candidates with native iOS (Objective-C) or Android development experience are encouraged to apply if they are proficient in JavaScript and React Native. Full-stack JavaScript developers with experience building UI and backend services are also welcome.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android.
- Build new features and enhance existing mobile applications.
- Develop responsive, reusable, and scalable UI components.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Utilize Redux (or similar state management libraries) for application state management and asynchronous API calls.
- Leverage native device APIs for deeper platform integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, testing, and production releases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Document application architecture and development processes.
- 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native and React.js.
- 4+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies.
- Experience with Redux, Flux, Flow, or similar state management frameworks.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON data models.
- Experience with offline storage and third-party libraries.
- Proficiency with development tools including:
- React Native Debugger
- Xcode
- Android Studio
- iOS & Android Simulators
- Jest
- ESLint
- Experience designing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- CloudWatch
- Amazon S3
- Experience with native iOS (Objective-C) or Android development.
- Full-stack JavaScript development experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Relevant technical or cloud certifications are a plus.
- No management experience required.
