Infor XA Techno-Functional Analyst
Full-Time | Pittsburgh, PA Preferred (Remote Considered)
We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Infor XA Techno-Functional Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize its enterprise ERP environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing both technical and functional hats--working directly with business stakeholders to understand operational needs while designing, developing, and supporting ERP solutions that drive efficiency across the organization.
If you have strong Infor XA, RPG, and SQL experience and enjoy solving complex business challenges in a manufacturing environment, this could be an excellent long-term opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing- Support, maintain, and enhance the organization's Infor XA ERP environment
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain custom RPG programs and ERP enhancements
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, reports, and data extracts
- Troubleshoot ERP issues and provide ongoing production support
- Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to improve business processes
- Participate in ERP upgrades, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals
- Help identify opportunities to improve system performance, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Hands-on experience supporting Infor XA or a comparable manufacturing ERP platform
- Strong blend of technical development and functional business analysis experience
- Significant RPG programming experience
- Strong SQL development, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Experience supporting ERP systems within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Infor XA Version 10
- Business Analyst responsibilities, including requirements gathering and process documentation
- Manufacturing operations, supply chain, or production workflows
- ERP upgrades, system enhancements, and reporting initiatives
