About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile Workday Data Migration initiative supporting multiple U.S.-based client engagements. This role will oversee the successful migration of payroll data from ADP into Workday, ensuring project delivery remains on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
This is a project leadership-focused role. While familiarity with Workday data migration and ETL processes is essential, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for delivery oversight, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination rather than hands-on system configuration or development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery and project oversight for Workday data migration initiatives involving the transition of payroll data from ADP to Workday.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and project objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate activities across client stakeholders, ADP source system teams, and Workday technical resources.
- Drive project governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workstreams and ensure dependencies are proactively managed.
- Monitor project timelines, resource utilization, and project outcomes.
- Escalate and resolve delivery challenges while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Support executive-level stakeholder communications and project reporting.
- Significant experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Project Manager, or similar leadership role managing enterprise-scale technology implementations.
- Proven experience leading Workday data migration projects, including oversight of ETL activities and data conversion efforts.
- Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, governance, and best practices.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups, including clients, source system owners, and technical delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-site, and/or multi-customer implementations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
- Experience with payroll system migrations, particularly involving ADP and Workday.
- Consulting or professional services delivery experience.
- Experience managing concurrent enterprise transformation projects.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned project delivery professional who excels at leading complex migration programs, managing executive stakeholders, and driving successful outcomes across distributed teams. You are highly organized, proactive in identifying risks, and comfortable navigating both business and technical environments.
