Job Title: Claims Administrator
Number of Positions: 8
Contract: 8 months - possible extension depending on business needs
Site/Location:  Remote but local to Wellesley Hills, MA, Portland, ME, Kansas City, MO, Lansing, MI, or Hartford, CT
Rate: $15-20/hr

Job Details 
This role is with Support Stop Loss & Health Claims Services. This person will be assigned claim submissions to manually enter data points into the designated template with high level of accuracy.  Individuals in this role will be subject to quality assurance audits and will be expected to escalate any data issues that arise to upper levels withing the Data Intake Team.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in claims and medical coding
  • Proficiency in basic office tools (word, Excel etc.) 
  • Quick learner of internal claims systems
  • Understanding of processes & able to escalate issues
  • Basic knowledge of data intake processes/policies and the ability to identify and escalate data discrepancies appropriately.

Responsibilities:

  • Intake claims (approx. 20 a day)
  • Accurately enter data and minimize errors, as the role involves QA audits and strict quality expectations
  • Efficiently and accurately input data into templates, including manual data entry from reports
  • Escalate issues when necessary
  • Reach approximately 95% processing accuracy and 99.7% financial accuracy by the three-month mark
