Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java / Angular / Azure)
Position Type: Contract - $74.00 per hour
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - Requires Face-to-Face Interview)
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Contract Developer based in the Chicago area with deep cloud-native expertise. In this role, you will design and build scalable enterprise applications using modern frontend frameworks, robust Java backends, and cloud-native architecture.
Note: This position operates on a hybrid schedule in Chicago and requires an in-person, face-to-face interview.
Key Responsibilities-
Full-Stack Engineering: Develop secure, maintainable applications using Angular 15+ and Java / Spring Boot.

API & Database Design: Build high-performance RESTful APIs using Hibernate/JPA frameworks and manage SQL database structures.

Cloud & DevOps: Deploy cloud-native applications within the Azure ecosystem via automated CI/CD pipelines.

Code Quality: Enforce strict software standards using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito).

8+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong production experience with Angular 15+ and Java / Spring Boot.

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

Proficient in SQL, relational database design, and ORM frameworks.

Deep understanding of TDD, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and automated testing tools.

Local to Chicago (or willing to travel) for a mandatory face-to-face interview and hybrid work schedule.
