Job Description

A Sr. Electrical Engineer responsible for project management, electrical engineering, and design for heavy industrial facility projects. Able to coordinate the electrical designs and client requirements with other engineering disciplines and direct the work of junior engineers and designers concerning document production. The position will require interfacing with vendor personnel, the client's personnel, and with contractors. Responsible for providing electrical power system models (utilizing EasyPower Software). 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of experience as an electrical engineer
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as project load requires
  • Hands-on knowledge and design proficiency in electrical standards, codes, and vendor equipment options
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience coordinating work within an internal team of electrical engineers and designers, as well as cross-disciplinary coordination
  • Working knowledge of NFPA and NEC Standards
  • Experience in power system design (preferably EasyPower)

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution and motor controls P&ID development in conjunction with process engineers/equipment vendors
  • Knowledge of field instrumentation for industrial processes
  • Working knowledge of DCS, PLC systems, and control system networks
  • Proficiency in industrial design for grounding, lighting, and cable tray layouts
  • Proficiency in Electrical & Instrumentation industrial construction methods
Salary: $150K - $170K
