Pay 32- 37 per hour
1 year contract
The Planet Group is seeking a Construction Quality Specialist for a one year contract in Richmond VA.
- Working knowledge of power generation systems and pollution control equipment.
- General understanding of construction and field operations, including work practices, equipment utilization, and project scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to compare construction specifications and material requirements against completed work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively with management, contractors, and cross-functional teams while making sound decisions in the field.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, scaffolding requirements, and industry-standard safety practices.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
