Job Descriptions:

The Nexus QA team is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead quality planning and execution across a portfolio of enterprise applications and business-critical initiatives. In this role, you will guide a team of QA professionals and delivery partners, establish consistent quality practices, and work closely with technology and business teams to support reliable releases. This position is well suited for a leader who combines people management, delivery oversight, and modern quality engineering practices, including automation and AI-enabled testing.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead QA delivery across a portfolio of projects, enhancements, and production support initiatives, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and quality objectives.
  • Manage and develop QA team members and delivery partners across onshore and offshore models, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Define test strategies, quality approaches, and engagement models that support functional, integration, regression, automation, and non-functional testing needs.
  • Establish and maintain QA standards, quality gates, defect governance, and risk-based controls to improve release confidence and delivery transparency.
  • Partner with product, engineering, program, and business teams to align on priorities, resolve risks, and support release readiness across multiple workstreams.
  • Monitor and communicate quality metrics, testing progress, risks, and defect trends through regular reporting and governance forums.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness through automation, AI-assisted testing, process standardization, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support resource planning, supplier coordination, and capacity discussions to maintain effective QA coverage across the Nexus portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or software testing, including experience leading teams or managing QA delivery.
  • Experience developing and executing test strategies across functional, integration, regression, automation, and non-functional testing.
  • Working knowledge of QA and delivery tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, LoadRunner, mobile testing tools, and test management platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or SDLC-based delivery environments with strong understanding of release planning, defect management, and quality governance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Experience using automation, AI-assisted testing, or modern quality engineering practices to improve delivery outcomes is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience supporting enterprise application portfolios in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing offshore teams, third-party suppliers, or managed service delivery models.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, API testing, test data management, or environment coordination.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled quality engineering, test optimization, or QA transformation initiatives.
