Global Senior Analyst - Travel & Expense Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Senior Analyst - Travel & Expense to join our Finance team. In this role, you will serve as the primary analyst for our global Travel & Expense (T&E) program, championing operational excellence, policy compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will be responsible for administering and optimizing the Concur platform, enhancing the user experience through automation and process improvements, and ensuring accurate and timely expense processing. This role will focus on creating a seamless, touchless travel and expense experience by minimizing manual intervention, streamlining workflows, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Additionally, you will provide data-driven insights that support cost management, policy compliance, and strategic decision-making while partnering with stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, Compliance, and external vendors.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Optimize the Concur platform by managing system configurations, maintaining global policies, overseeing integrations with third-party systems, and implementing system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with global T&E policies and procedures, aligning practices with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage expense report auditing, review, and approval processes to ensure timely and accurate reimbursements.
  • Support global expense management programs across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan, ensuring compliance with local tax, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Provide training and support to employees and managers, enabling successful adoption of expense management tools and policies.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and policy guidelines.
  • Create and deliver reports and metrics that provide actionable insights into compliance, program performance, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze travel and expense data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Compliance, HR, IT, Internal Audit, travel agencies, and external vendors to support an integrated global T&E program.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve the end-user experience.
  • Operate independently, proactively identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and driving results.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Healthcare Professional (HCP) expense management, including compliance with the Sunshine Act, EFPIA, and other global transparency reporting requirements. Ensure all HCP-related expenses adhere to applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications Education
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Travel & Expense management, including Concur administration and configuration.
  • Advanced Concur configuration experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of global travel and expense policies, procedures, best practices, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Experience with Oracle and other financial systems preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and training skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries, including the United States, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Japan, is preferred.
