Business Data Analyst (Epicor ERP / HRIS Reporting)
Our client, a growing and innovation-focused organization undergoing a large-scale ERP and HRIS transformation, is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their team during a critical implementation period.
This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your work will directly influence business decisions across Finance, Operations, Project Management, and HR. You'll help turn complex enterprise data into trusted insights while supporting a major Epicor ERP implementation and ADP integration initiative.

This is an onsite contract opportunity (3-6 months) with urgency to hire immediately. Local and regional candidates will receive priority consideration.
Enterprise Reporting & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and self-service datasets across ERP and HRIS environments.
- Build scalable reporting assets and reusable query layers (BAQs, extracts, and data models).
- Translate business questions into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Deliver trend analysis, variance reporting, reconciliation efforts, and executive-ready insights.
- Establish reporting standards, KPI definitions, and documentation to ensure consistent business metrics.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation routines to maintain reporting accuracy.
- Support audit cycles and period-end reporting with reliable, traceable data outputs.
- Maintain reporting inventories, documentation libraries, and metric definitions.
- Collaborate closely with ERP leadership and business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, and Project teams.
- Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual reporting effort.
- Partner across analytical workstreams to ensure consistent definitions and shared data assets.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic) environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles supporting ERP and/or HRIS platforms.
- Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities.
- Experience with BI/reporting platforms such as Power BI (or similar visualization tools).
- Hands-on experience building ERP reporting solutions (Epicor BAQs or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and influence business decisions through data.
- Direct experience with ADP reporting environments.
- Background in manufacturing, construction, modular building, or operational environments.
- ETL/data pipeline exposure.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and reporting frameworks.
- Python or R for analytical support.
- Certifications such as PL-300, CAP, or related analytics credentials.
