Job Title: Solution Consultant
Location: Akron, OH 44320 or Wallingford, CT 06492
Contract length: 12-month Contract
Pay: $42/hr - $47.52/hr
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
Solution Consultant Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited program and minimum 3 years of relevant experience is Required
- Excellent project and portfolio management system skills
- Experience working with utilities, infrastructure organizations, or large capital project environments, ideally within a regulated utility setting
- Proven ability to lead client-facing discovery sessions, influence stakeholders, and manage organizational change
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating those needs into scalable reporting solutions that align with program objectives and enhance decision-making
- Work with the team to set up quality metrics for system data, ensuring data completeness and accuracy
- Assist with data extraction, transformation, and migration activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting frameworks that enable efficient, repeatable, and accurate reporting across multiple projects and portfolios
- Participate in and contribute to client-facing engagements, including solution demonstrations, status updates, working sessions, and feedback discussions, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and next steps
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities to drive efficiency and deliver greater value to the client
- Other duties as assigned
