EPM / NSPB Consultant
Remote | Contract Opportunity | Flexible Hours
We're partnering with an organization seeking an experienced EPM / NSPB Consultant to support the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise planning and budgeting solutions.
This is a hands-on consulting opportunity ideal for someone with strong expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and/or NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) who enjoys partnering with Finance and FP&A teams to improve forecasting, planning accuracy, reporting visibility, and financial decision-making.
You'll play a key role in helping organizations modernize financial planning processes, streamline reporting, and deliver scalable budgeting and forecasting solutions.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead and support implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives within Oracle EPM Cloud and/or NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB)
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable planning and budgeting solutions
- Configure:
- Planning models
- Metadata and dimensions
- Dashboards and forms
- Business rules and workflows
- Develop and enhance:
- Budgeting and forecasting models
- Workforce planning
- Cash flow planning
- Long-range financial planning solutions
- Build and optimize financial reports, dashboards, Smart View templates, and executive reporting packages
- Design and support integrations between ERP systems, data warehouses, and EPM/NSPB environments
- Assist with testing, reconciliation, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to improve planning cycles and reporting accuracy
- Troubleshoot system issues, performance concerns, and calculation errors
- Deliver end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support
- Recommend best practices related to financial planning, reporting automation, and governance
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud and/or NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB)
- Strong understanding of:
- FP&A processes
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Financial reporting
- Planning cycles
- Experience configuring:
- Planning applications
- Business rules
- Calculations
- Workflows
- Knowledge of multidimensional financial modeling and data structures
- Experience with:
- Smart View
- Financial dashboards and reporting tools
- Financial analytics and executive reporting
- Familiarity with ERP integrations involving financial systems
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:
- Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS / EPBCS)
- Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
- Integrating NSPB with ERP environments
- Groovy scripting
- Calculation Manager
- Data Management
- EPM Automate
- Workforce planning, revenue planning, or driver-based forecasting models
- Consulting experience within industries such as:
- SaaS
- Technology
- Manufacturing
- Healthcare
- Professional Services
Relevant certifications, advanced finance backgrounds, or ERP/EPM implementation experience are a plus.
