Job Description

A Sr. Project Manager responsible for managing the project schedule, communicating internally with the project team and externally with vendors and customers.  Monitor all assigned projects' financial performance and ensure that the projects stay within budget.

Required:

  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year university.
  • 10 years project engineering or project management experience.
  • A background with industrial process heating systems, or related equipment. 
  • The ability to coordinate and organize a project engineering team to obtain a common goal.
  • Advanced communication skills both technically and commercially are required. Must have the ability to utilize resources to enhance the performance of the assigned project group.
  • Must be proficient with computers and modern mobile communication methods.
Job Duties:
  • Maintain the project equipment list per the project procedure
  • Work closely with the customer after the sale to ensure a successful project.
  • Responsible for communicating the financial status of all assigned projects with management.
  • Develop and coordinate project schedules with engineering, design, manufacturing, and vendors utilizing the approved methods and tools. 
  • Ensure all project invoices are sent on time, and payment is received in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with the project team to meet the project schedule, budget, or customer requirements. Answer for all budget deviations on assigned projects.
  • Direct Junior Project Managers on all project related functions
  • Assist and provide input as needed to Project Managers on complex problems or equipment clarifications
  • Oversee the project equipment list and requisition the purchase of all required items for an assigned project
  • Control P&ID internal workflow and review project P&IDs per the application/sales and process engineer's design.
  • Submittal requests of all project drawings to the customer, engineering, and manufacturing.

Pay: $125K - $145K
