Clinical Strategy Specialist
TN, USA - Remote
6 Month Contract
Pay: $55/hr - $60/hr (DOE)
The Global Clinical Strategy Lead for Orthopedics and Robotics is responsible for developing and executing global clinical and economic evidence generation strategies. This includes supporting new product introductions, driving adoption, and ensuring continued regulatory approval and market access across the product lifecycle.
The role collaborates cross-functionally with R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, HEOR, medical affairs, and marketing to ensure alignment of clinical evidence strategies with both business and regulatory objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute global clinical and economic evidence generation strategies
- Identify clinical evidence gaps and create comprehensive global evidence plans
- Design studies, publication strategies, and claims support approaches
- Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Marketing) to align strategies
- Support new product development teams by integrating clinical strategy into development and regulatory pathways
- Ensure timely contribution of clinical strategy to product lifecycle activities
- Engage externally with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and research partners
- Drive generation of high-quality clinical evidence through:
- Company-sponsored studies
- Investigator-initiated research
- Real-world data
- Ensure the Orthopedics and Robotics portfolio is supported by robust clinical and economic evidence
- Contribute to strategies that support market adoption and long-term commercial success
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification and experience in:
- Engineering, design, scientific, or clinical field
- Orthopedic experience in medical devices and robotics or related field
- Experience:
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD + 1 year of relevant experience
