Job Description

The HR Generalist serves as a partner to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, and workplace compliance. You will support organizational goals by offering operational and strategic HR support. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements human resources programs and services, including talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, records management, health and safety, employee relations and retention, and compliance reporting
  • Support company's performance management process, including testing, implementation and monitoring of Performance module in HRIS, provide training presentations to employees and managers, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business
  • Manage the full employee life cycle and those who support it from initial recruitment engagement to onboarding and development programs to offboarding. Includes conducting new hire orientation and exit interviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee concerns, workplace issues and policy interpretation
  • In conjunction with wider HR team, identify, develop & deliver reporting KPIs, dashboards and analytics for the business
  • Provide secondary support for North American payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Assist in coordination of company events/human relations activities-programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a HR Generalist or similar role
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and ability to provide sound guidance to all levels of employees
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Salary range is 70-80k based on relevant experience
