100% Remote Contract Opportunity
Our Client, a leader in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing space, is undergoing a highly complex, enterprise-wide transformation involving multiple acquisitions, workforce system consolidation, and a large-scale payroll modernization initiative.
With five acquired companies being integrated, the organization is standardizing workforce management and time tracking on UKG Pro WFM while simultaneously migrating payroll and benefits into Workday. This creates a high-stakes environment where UKG configuration accuracy, labor rules, and integration integrity directly impact downstream payroll outcomes.
The UKG Pro WFM Solutions Architect will serve as the technical backbone of this initiative, driving global design governance, standardization, and scalable architecture across a multi-company, union-heavy, manufacturing environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Leading global workforce management architecture strategy across multiple acquired entities
- Driving standardization of UKG Pro WFM configurations, time rules, and labor structures
- Overseeing integration alignment between UKG and Workday Payroll and HR systems
- Governing enterprise design decisions across union, manufacturing, and multi-payroll environments
- Evaluating and refining time, attendance, and absence management rule structures
- Coordinating cross-functional alignment across implementation, integration, and HRIS teams
- Supporting future acquisition readiness and scalable workforce design frameworks
- Ensuring accuracy of data flows from UKG into downstream payroll systems
Qualifications:
- Enterprise-level UKG Pro WFM architecture experience in complex environments
- Proven experience supporting multi-company rollouts or large-scale consolidations
- Strong background in manufacturing or industrial workforce environments
- Hands-on understanding of Workday integrations and downstream payroll impacts
- Experience with M&A system consolidation and harmonization initiatives
- Deep understanding of complex labor environments including unions and shift structures
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience supporting UKG to Workday transition programs
- Exposure to union contract interpretation and configuration within workforce systems
- Prior experience in global enterprise workforce standardization initiatives
- Background supporting hypercare phases in large-scale HCM implementations
Why this Opportunity?
- 100% Remote role with client preference for candidates based in Central or Eastern Time Zones for optimal collaboration
- Contract engagement: 6-9 months with strong potential for extension based on program needs and post go-live hypercare through 2027
- Competitive rate: $95-$115/hr (DOE)
- High-impact enterprise transformation spanning multiple acquisitions and large-scale workforce consolidation
- Opportunity to serve as the lead UKG Pro WFM architecture authority across a complex, multi-company environment
- Direct influence over UKG and Workday integration strategy, ensuring accuracy of workforce data flowing into payroll and HR systems
- Visibility at the enterprise level across a major manufacturing organization undergoing simultaneous digital and operational transformation
- Exposure to highly complex workforce environments including union rules, manufacturing labor models, and legacy pay structures
This is a rare opportunity to step into a mission-critical architecture role at the center of a multi-billion-dollar transformation spanning acquisitions, workforce consolidation, and payroll modernization. You will directly influence the stability and scalability of UKG Pro WFM across multiple acquired companies while ensuring seamless integration into Workday Payroll and HR processes. The complexity is high, the visibility is enterprise-wide, and the impact is immediate.
If you are a Senior Level UKG Solution Architect who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and can bring order to large-scale workforce transformations, this is a high-impact engagement worth immediate consideration. If qualified and interested apply today… this one is moving quickly!!
