Job Title: Cardiac Scheduler
Location: Remote
Contract length: 6 months, then conversion
Schedule: Fulltime, M-F, 8a to 4:30p Central
Pay: $12/hr to $17/hr, DOE

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Call Center Manager, the MCT Patient scheduler communicates with patients via phone to provide a clear overview of the prescribed home testing device. The ideal candidate will need to possess the ability to be persuasive and achieve success metrics. The position requires knowledge of computers, customer service skills, technology, and telecommunications to perform the required tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patients for Home-Based Testing using the required applications
  • Answer inbound calls from patients, physician offices and DME companies
  • Placing outbound calls to patients, physician offices and DME companies
  • Obtains and verifies insurance information from the patients
  • Updates patient files with corrected insurance and patient demographics
  • Work incomplete orders, physician updates, device retrievals, lost devices and patient follow up calls from the required applications
  • Process patient payments using the required applications
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of customer service and/or medical experience
  • Strong outbound calling, customer service, and multitasking skills are critical
  • Proficient in MS Internet Explorer, Excel and various MS office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent production abilities
  • Knowledge of medical insurance preferred
