Location: Tewksbury, MA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $56 - $65/hour
Work Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift (Occasional Overtime, Shutdown/Startup Support as Needed)

The Electrical Technician is a senior-level field technician responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting industrial electrical and automation systems across complex industrial environments.
This role requires hands-on expertise in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and control systems used in process and manufacturing environments. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing system failures, supporting equipment startups, and ensuring reliable operation of automated systems.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms, supporting VFD and motor control systems, and diagnosing electrical and instrumentation failures in the field. The technician will interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and PLC logic to resolve complex operational issues.
This role requires strong field experience in industrial environments, the ability to work independently under minimal supervision, and the ability to support high-demand operational systems in potentially hazardous environments. The technician will also ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA and NFPA 70E while working on energized systems and industrial equipment.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical or controls technician roles
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens required)
- Experience with SCADA and HMI systems
- Knowledge of VFDs, motor control systems, and industrial automation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in field environments
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E preferred)
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Ability to work independently in high-demand field conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
