Role: Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant
Contract: 6 Months
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Schedule: 40 hours
Pay: $105-$110/Hr.
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise across Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules. This is not a support or order-taking role. We are looking for a seasoned leader who can engage directly with business stakeholders, quickly build trust, translate complex and ambiguous challenges into practical Oracle solutions, and confidently drive decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of Oracle Applications experience, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Manufacturing implementations. This individual is equally comfortable leading executive-level design discussions and performing hands-on configuration and validation. They proactively identify risks, issues, and gaps--always paired with actionable solutions--and effectively hold vendors and offshore teams accountable without requiring constant oversight.
This role will serve as a key IT partner supporting core supply chain and manufacturing functions, requiring strong business acumen and the ability to establish IT as a strategic enabler.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Engagement
- Lead complex business discussions, including design sessions, solution workshops, and executive reviews, with minimal oversight
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations; serve as a trusted IT partner
- Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable Oracle Fusion solution designs
- Drive decision-making by presenting recommendations, facilitating alignment, and maintaining momentum
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and gaps, along with mitigation strategies
- Represent IT in cross-functional forums, steering committees, and executive-level discussions
- Lead full lifecycle implementations (AS-IS ? TO-BE ? configuration ? testing ? training ? go-live)
- Serve as Functional Lead across SCM and Manufacturing modules, ensuring end-to-end solution integrity
- Facilitate Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and design validation sessions
- Conduct gap analysis and guide solution design decisions with a focus on scalability and practicality
- Oversee data conversion strategy and execution
- Lead QA and UAT cycles, including test strategy, execution, and defect resolution
- Develop and deliver targeted end-user training to support adoption
Required Qualifications Experience
- 15+ years of Oracle Applications experience, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing
- Proven experience as a Functional Lead on full lifecycle implementations (not just support/enhancement roles)
- Demonstrated ability to lead business discussions independently and drive outcomes
- Experience managing vendor and offshore teams in enterprise IT or consulting environments
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate unclear requirements into structured solutions
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries strongly preferred
