Job Summary

We are seeking a Turnover Coordinator to support a large-scale industrial construction project. This role is responsible for developing, tracking, and assembling system turnover packages from construction through commissioning and final handover to operations. The position works closely with construction, quality, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth system completion and documentation readiness.


Key Responsibilities

Turnover Package Management

  • Develop and maintain system-based turnover packages across multiple disciplines
  • Track system boundaries, priorities, and completion status
  • Coordinate handover from construction to commissioning and operations

Documentation & Quality

  • Compile and verify turnover documentation, including QA/QC records, as-builts, test reports, and equipment documentation
  • Ensure all documentation meets project and quality standards
  • Maintain document control within turnover management systems

System Completion Tracking

  • Monitor completion status, punch lists, and deficiencies
  • Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams to close out items
  • Support walkdowns and turnover readiness reviews

Coordination & Reporting

  • Act as liaison between construction, engineering, commissioning, and operations
  • Support vendor documentation collection and integration
  • Maintain turnover schedules and provide status reporting

Handover & Closeout

  • Support turnover meetings and system sign-offs
  • Ensure final documentation is delivered and archived
  • Assist with project closeout activities

Qualifications
  • 3-8+ years of experience in turnover coordination, document control, QA/QC, or commissioning support
  • Experience supporting industrial or large capital construction projects preferred
  • Familiarity with turnover processes and system completion workflows
  • Experience with document/turnover management systems (e.g., WinPCS, Procore, Aconex, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
