Job Description
Job Title: Senior Accounting Analyst
Hybrid/Remote: Onsite
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: Permanent, full-time
Salary Range: $88,000 - $110,000 CAD
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the incumbent is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial information to support decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and track revenue by project;
- Prepare monthly IFRS financial statements for various projects/companies in Canada;
- Work in collaboration with on-site teams to identify and maximize profitability in relation to existing contracts;
- Work on the implementation of new accounting standards;
- Work independently on complex analyses;
- Act as a resource person for the team;
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Job Qualifications:
- Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or a related field
- Accounting designation (CPA, CA/CPA, CMA/CPA, CGA)
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Experience in project accounting
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP
- Skills/Knowledge
- Must speak French fluently
- Dynamism and attention to detail
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Communication skills
- Good priority management
