Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer, Service Cloud
Location: Local to Bedford, MA - remote
Employment Type: 5 Month Contract
Pay Rate: 45-50/hr
Hours: 40/week, standard business hours
Must:
- Candidates MUST be local, ideally within 30 miles of Bedford MA.
- No onsite requirements at this time but candidates must be local to the Bedford area.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Candidates MUST have recent experience with Agentforce, OMS and service cloud - These are non-negotiables.
- Candidates need to know the above skills and be able to explain their experience working with them
- Candidates must have a completed BA/BS degree in a technical field.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and support solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Order Management (OMS) using Apex, Lightning, and Flows
- Deliver enhancements across the full development lifecycle
- Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Follow Salesforce best practices for development, testing, and documentation
- Build and maintain API integrations using Apex and REST services
- AI / Agentforce Chatbot
- Enhance the existing Agentforce chatbot to support transactional workflows
- Improve chatbot accuracy using Salesforce Knowledge, product data, and business rules
- Configure prompts, intents, actions, and fallback logic
- Data Cloud & Personalization
- Use Salesforce Data Cloud to support personalization and AI grounding
- Support identity resolution and data mapping as needed
- Testing, Release & Governance
- Support testing, UAT, deployments, and production releases
- Follow DevOps and Git-based deployment practices
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong experience with:
- Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows REST APIs and integrations
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce
- Experience working with Salesforce Order Management (OMS) & Salesforce Service cloud
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Experience with Git and Salesforce deployments
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II)
- Experience with AI, chatbots, or conversational automation
- Experience supporting global or multilingual Salesforce implementations
- Background in customer service, warranty, or technical support systems
