Overview

We are seeking a Drupal Security & Platform Engineer to maintain, secure, and automate a Drupal-based infrastructure. You will bridge the gap between Drupal development and systems security, focusing on vulnerability remediation and secure container orchestration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Remediation: Identify and patch vulnerabilities across the Drupal ecosystem (core, modules, custom code) and the underlying OS/software stack.

  • Platform Engineering: Build, optimize, and secure Docker images to ensure environment consistency and performance.

  • Automation: Develop scripts (Bash/Python) and workflows to automate secure base-image provisioning and patch management.

  • Drupal Development: Maintain and enhance Drupal 10/11 applications and modules.

  • Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and hardening of the web stack (Nginx/Apache, PHP, MySQL).

Required Skills
  • Drupal Expertise: Strong development skills in Drupal 10/11, including custom modules.

  • Security Focus: Proven track record in Drupal security patching and Linux OS hardening.

  • Automation: Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for system maintenance.

  • Infrastructure: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and web application stack security.

  • Tools: Familiarity with vulnerability scanners and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with AWS cloud environments.
