Job Description

Our client is seeking a Patient Safety Applications Coordinator with 3+ years of experience supporting clinical applications, specifically within patient safety systems. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and operational support within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 
The ideal candidate will have prior experience administering patient safety applications—
Riskonnect strongly preferred—and a proven ability to manage complex workflows, support enhancements, and drive issue resolution.
 
Job Title: Patient Safety Applications Coordinator
Duration: 6-Month Contract (with potential extension)
Location: Fully Remote
Pay: $75 - $90/hr W2
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience supporting clinical or patient safety applications
  • Hands-on experience with Riskonnect (preferred) and/or Midas Plus
  • Strong understanding of patient safety workflows, event reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage issue resolution across patient safety applications, including Midas Plus (Statit & Datavision) and Riskonnect, ensuring timely response to critical issues
  • Collaborate with software vendors to test, validate, and implement new features and system enhancements
  • Generate reports and analytics to support regulatory requirements on both an ad hoc and recurring basis
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for event reporting and risk management workflows, including system configuration and optimization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Epic and non-Epic application teams, to ensure seamless integration and support
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, aligning system functionality with operational needs
  • Lead and coordinate with offshore support teams, including task delegation, communication, and performance oversight
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
