Trade Compliance & Logistics Specialist
Contract, 6-12 months
$25-30/hr
Industry- Consumer goods, large, public company
Location- Lakeville, MA (hybrid - Tue, Wed & Thur in office)
Background- Criminal check & 5 panel drug screen (includes marijuana)
Why Open- Busy / extra help need on the trade compliance team
Must haves:
-2+ years of logistics, shipping, import or supply chain experience
-MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Preferred:
-AGS, Integration Point, OneSource and Warehouse Management System
-Manufacturing industry
Job Description:
Trade Compliance & Logistics Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Audit and code freight invoices
- Audit commercial import documentation
- Segregate documents and provide to appropriate stakeholders
- Data entry of shipment details
- Track and trace international import shipments
- Update internal tracker for stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Auditing skills
- Accounting background (helpful but not required)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
- 2+ years of relevant logistics, import and supply chain experience.
- AGS, Integration Point, OneSource and Warehouse Management System experience is preferred.
- Manufacturing industry is preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal & external customers.
