Studio Photo Editor
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in CULVER CITY, CA
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 40 hours
Pay: $72-$74.64 DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Studio Photo Editor to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract, working in a hybrid schedule from Culver City, CA.
Studio Photo Editor | Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with photographers, creating and working within standardized processes, and working with cross functional teams.
- Work closely with Visuals Studio photo art directors, photo producers and in-house studio photographers to monitor the artist visit photography captured at the studios for on and off platform needs.
- You will work closely with the artist relations team, navigating artist approvals, retouching requests, advocating for image priorities and delivery of assets.
- You possess strong communication, project and time management skills, are incredibly organized and have a proven ability to work collaboratively with others — in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment.
- You are a motivated, self-starter who stays calm under pressure.
- You are enthusiastic about culture and lifestyle, with a craft-focused eye for detail.
Studio Photo Editor | Description:
- Serve as the primary onsite liaison between show producers, artist relations, and studio photographers — fielding real-time requests and ensuring clear, timely communication across teams
- Oversee artist approval workflows onsite, including communicating image priorities, documenting requests, and managing retouching feedback
- Partner with art directors and photo producers to execute creative initiatives and identify key moments for weekly and monthly studio recaps
- Provide hands-on support for livestream events, including live editing and asset delivery to relevant teams
- Coordinate with the photo studio manager and production team to schedule resources and execute monthly photo lab creative refreshes
- Monitor and maintain studio equipment, spaces, and operational standards across all three locations
