Pay Rate: $20-23.59/hour (DOE)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent will work, while bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- One year of administrative/clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
The Planet Group is seeking a self-motivated and highly organized Temporary Project Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support for multiple research studies. This is a part time role, offering approximately 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Duties include:
- The project assistant will be responsible for filing, photocopying, printing, scanning, performing data entry, and preparing mailings of study-related documents and materials.
- The project assistant will also assist with weekly drop-offs of mailings at the local United States Postal Office (USPS) Bulk Mail Office in Palo Alto, CA.
- The ideal applicant should possess excellent organizational and administrative skills and have some past clerical experience.
