Location: Remote, but must be local to CUL
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 40 hours
Pay: $86-$90 DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Software Engineer - Data to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract, working in Remote, but must be local to CUL.
Software Engineer - Data | Qualifications:
- Software Engineering with Python
- Sound knowledge of designing data systems (Datalakes, near real time data processing, Data Services APIs)
- Extensive experience of developing scalable batch processing pipeline with PySpark
- Experience developing software applications using cloud services preferably AWS
- Cloud infrastructure management experience with public clouds like AWS, GCP
- Experience developing services and APIs in Python/Go/Java
- Sound knowledge of developing UI applications
- Deep understanding of database systems
Software Engineer - Data | Description:
- Design & develop different components of a several data products like data pipelines, APIs for data services, tools & frameworks for business automation.
- Your systems will build stakeholder trust and work to automate many manual processes to increase the overall efficiency of marketing.
- You will work closely with Engineering leaders and the product, solutions and analytics teams to understand product features, design engineering solutions, and drive end to end execution.
- You will also be primary point of contact for any engineering support during business hours (PST).
