Epicor Kinetic Technical Specialist / Developer

Our client, a global manufacturer known for innovation and operational excellence, is seeking a highly skilled Epicor Technical Specialist / Developer to join a collaborative ERP team supporting mission-critical manufacturing systems.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with business leaders and technical stakeholders to enhance ERP capabilities, drive system adoption, and develop new solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience across a global organization.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
ERP System Optimization
  • Drive improved utilization of Epicor Kinetic across the organization by identifying underused functionality and implementing best practices.
  • Partner with business units to streamline processes and improve productivity through smarter system usage.
  • Gather user feedback and translate operational needs into technical solutions and enhancements.
Systems Implementation & Enhancement
  • Plan and execute ERP updates, new functionality deployments, and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, testing, and implementation to ensure smooth delivery with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure integrations between ERP and other business systems where applicable.
Development, Reporting & Customization
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools using BAQs, Dashboards, Data Definitions, and SSRS.
  • Develop and support customizations using BPMs, Functions, and Application Studio.
  • Create insights and reporting tools that enable leadership to make better data-driven decisions.
Training & User Enablement
  • Deliver training and guidance to end users to ensure confident and effective system usage.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to improve adoption and reduce operational friction.
Technical Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP users and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that address evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of ERP development and implementation experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Epicor Kinetic development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Epicor development tools (BPMs, Functions, Application Studio)
    • BAQ, Dashboard, Data Definitions, and Report Styles
    • SSRS reporting and customization
    • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL querying
    • C# development
  • Experience supporting multi-company and multi-currency ERP environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.

Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic Warehouse, QuickShip, DocStar, or advanced financial modules.
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations with PLM/PDM or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with Jitterbit or other integration platforms.
  • Understanding of business processes across accounting, engineering, purchasing, inventory, costing, sales, and logistics.
  • Experience delivering ERP training and user adoption initiatives.

Salary Budget: $125,000-$135,000 annually, plus bonus
