Job Description
Job Title: Wastewater Technician II
Location: Lewisburg, TN 37091
Contract length: 9-month Contract
Pay: $24/hr - $26/hr
- High School Diploma / GED required
- 1-2 years of experience
- Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to pass respirator fit test
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- First aid/CPR/AED certification
- Confined space entry certification -can be obtained post hire
- Experience in NetSuite
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator?
- Consistently work in various weather conditions
- Perform basic chemical analysis such as pH, flash point, FOG, solids, PCB, Halogen, ICP-MS, and ammonia
- Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, yard dog, high vac trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Sampling tanker trucks and containers
- Using a hose connection and unloading tanker trucks
- Performing waste stream QA/QC & lab analysis
- Performing oil line and wastewater treatment line operations
- Submit all associated paperwork, as required, for regulatory and safety record keeping requirements
