Experience Level: Senior – 10+ years
Rate: Up to $120/hour (flexible depending on market)
We are seeking an experienced BAAN 5 Functional Consultant to support ongoing operations and initiatives within a BAAN ERP environment. This role will primarily be remote, with occasional travel as needed for project or stakeholder engagements. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in BAAN 5 and extensive experience supporting business processes, system configuration, and user support.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide functional expertise and support for BAAN 5 ERP systems

Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements

Configure and optimize BAAN modules to support operational needs

Support system enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvements

Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and troubleshooting

Assist with testing, documentation, and user training

Ensure BAAN functionality aligns with business workflows and best practices

10+ years of experience working with BAAN ERP, specifically BAAN 5

Strong functional knowledge of BAAN modules and business processes

Experience working with cross-functional business teams

Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into functional solutions

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain environments

Prior experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimizations

Familiarity with integration and reporting tools within the BAAN ecosystem
