Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a Epic PB/HB Analyst (Certified) – Project Lead for a 6-month fully remote contract.
They are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB) Analyst to join a large enterprise Epic initiative supporting a large healthcare client located in CT zone.
This role will be part of a major 5-year program focused on building and optimizing Epic Revenue Cycle processes across a large multi-location healthcare system.
This individual will work closely with senior leadership and a global team of onshore and offshore resources to help design and build Epic billing workflows from the ground up.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Certification in both Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB)
- 5+ years of Epic PB/HB build experience
- Proven experience building Epic billing workflows from scratch
- Experience working in large, multi-location health systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills
- Experience collaborating with offshore development or support teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and build activities for Epic PB and HB revenue cycle workflows
- Support the development and optimization of processes including:
- PB Charge Router, Charge Review, and PB Claims & Remittance
- Workqueues (WQ)
- General Ledger (GL) integration
- Credit card processing workflows
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore Epic teams to manage development, support, and after-hours coverage
- Act as a technical lead, guiding build decisions while remaining capable of stepping into hands-on configuration as needed
- Partner with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to design scalable billing solutions
- Support project planning, coordination, and implementation across a large health system environment
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, and deployment of system changes
Environment
- Team structure includes 5 onshore team members and 10+ offshore resources
- May include limited on-call responsibilities
- Role sits within the Epic Project Team
