Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Certified Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to join a large enterprise healthcare support team.

 

This role will focus on supporting Epic PB workflows, resolving system tickets, and collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure efficient operations across a complex health system environment.

 

This position is part of a long-term Epic initiative supporting a large multi-location healthcare organization.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification (PB Admin required; PB Claims preferred)
  • 5+ years of Epic PB experience
  • 3+ years of Epic PB support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Epic revenue cycle workflows
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with offshore support teams
  • Ability to prioritize support tickets in a fast-paced healthcare environment

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Epic Professional Billing (PB) workflows
  • Manage and resolve support tickets related to Epic PB functionality
  • Support areas including:
  • PB Charge Router
  • Charge Review
  • PB Claims & Remittance
  • Workqueues (WQ)
  • General Ledger (GL) integration
  • Credit card processing workflows
  • Prioritize and resolve critical issues during the day while coordinating lower-priority tickets with offshore teams for after-hours support
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of system issues
  • Communicate and coordinate work across onshore and offshore support teams
  • Document issue resolution, workflow updates, and system changes
  • Assist with system optimization and ongoing Epic PB support initiatives

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic Hospital Billing (HB) experience
  • Experience supporting large, multi-location health systems
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle integrations and financial workflows

 

Environment

  • Work within a large enterprise healthcare environment (5,000+ employees)
  • Support team includes both onshore and offshore Epic analysts
  • Limited on-call requirements
