Job Description
Administrative Assistant
Location: Wauwatosa, WI
Contract: 7 months
Schedule: 40 Hours
Pay: $20-21/hr DOE
Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree
- Performs independent work with limited supervision.
- Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced, work environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills communicating with employees at all levels, in addition to internal and external customers and vendors
- Problem solving skills, demonstrated organizational, and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google, and ability to learn additional software programs associated with assigned work
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
- Provides administrative support to management team & designated department with duties including but are not limited to preparing, drafting, composing or editing incoming/outgoing correspondence, reports and other documents as requested. Maintains reports, documents, spreadsheets and/or PowerPoint presentations;assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, and personnel changes.Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the department(s) served; organizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinates phone inquiries and messages for designated department(s), functional area(s) and/or manager(s).
- Assists in budget preparation and control activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned
