Title - Drafter
Location Mineral VA
Pay Range - 33 - 33.79 per hour

This role performs drafting duties including preparation, maintenance and updating of an industrial Nuclear Power Station documentation including Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical circuits and prints, station and standard drawings, maps, charts and graphic arts.

• Prepares, maintains and updates P&ID, circuit and one-line diagrams, prints and charts.
• Works with other department personnel to obtain and verify information needed to produce detailed drawings from designer and engineer sketches for circuit drawings and one-lines.
• Creates and updates drawings manually and through use of computer aided drafting system.
• Maintain computer aided drafting system in operational condition.
• Performs freehand and mechanical pencil and ink lettering for drawings, posters and prints.
• Retrieves and issues original drawings from records management and reproduces maps.
• Drafts mechanical, electrical and civil construction drawings and updates-controlled drawings from designer and field sketches.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
• The applicant is versed in basic Micro Soft software applications such as Word and Excel.
• Prefer someone with an electrical background, a combination of Electrical with Civil and Mechanical experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience
• Required Highschool Diploma or Equivalency
• Preference for associate degree in Drafting/Design
