Job Description
Job Title: R&D Project Coordinator
Location: Tucson AZ
Contract Length: 12 month contract
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $35-40/hour
R&D Project Coordinator Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor' of Science degree, or 1 year of experience with a Master's degree
- Project management or project coordination experience
- Experience with EDMS (Electronic Document Management System)
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and interests
- Positive, self-starter who takes initiative and is adaptable to changing processes and projects
- Experience in a regulated industry is a plus
- Experience in an engineering related area is a plus
Drives on-time delivery of documentation and other deliverables for projects in accordance with various product development and design change processes. Supports the project team with planning, scheduling, tracking and managing deliverables throughout the process. Ensures project documents are complete, consistent, and conform
to quality system standards.
This position requires specialized expertise in change control and project management functional areas, particularly interfacing with engineering staff to complete assigned projects. This position interfaces with other functional areas within the company and with resources outside of the company (vendors, consultants, etc.) to complete the assigned projects within schedule. Responsible for identifying, planning, and tracking project deliverables according to Quality System processes (i.e.: scope definition, project plan, design specifications, validation and implementation activities).
- Contributes to project planning activities and task tracking.
- Facilitates technical review meetings. Drives completion of action items. Coordinates with internal and external resources to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables, per project schedule.
- Participates in development and review of best practice, operating procedure and other technical documentation to ensure consistency, quality and completeness. Manages and maintains Design History Files (DHF).
- Manages change workflows via the Electronic Document Management System.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
