About the Role

Client is looking for an exceptional Contract Brand Designer to join our Ads Platform team. This is a high-impact, temporary role responsible for translating the vibrant, authentic, and unique client brand into a complex, business-critical system.

You will be the taste-maker and system-builder who elevates the client Ads platform UI/UX from functional to truly exceptional. We need a designer with a demonstrated history of delivering high-aesthetic, modern, and future-proof design for sophisticated business tools (think Google Ads, Salesforce, etc.), making complex systems intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • System Modernization & Rebranding: Own the visual translation of the client brand identity into the Ads platform interface, setting a high bar for design quality, aesthetic taste, and usability.

  • UI/UX Aesthetic Leadership: Design core components while understanding brand for new products and common flows and experiences for advertisers, ensuring a seamless balance between high taste, modern aesthetic, and the functional demands of a complex enterprise system.

  • Design System Contribution: Partner with Product Design and Engineering to adapt and evolve the existing design system to accommodate sophisticated business patterns while maintaining brand integrity and visual excellence. Own the compentents and the output that the team can reuse. 

  • Taste & Trend Forecasting: Act as the internal champion for design excellence, bringing in outside best practices and anticipating future UI/UX trends to ensure the Ads platform is future-proof and competitive.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Design, Brand/Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure design consistency and successful implementation of branded components and features.

 

What We're Looking For Exceptional Taste & Aesthetic Skill
  • A portfolio that showcases exceptional taste and an ability to deliver high-quality, modern, and beautiful visual design across complex product experiences.

  • Proven ability to adapt and enhance a well-known brand identity within a structured, often data-heavy, user interface.

  • A mastery of typography, color, iconography, and layout principles, particularly in the context of enterprise/business tooling.

Expertise in Complex Systems
  • Significant experience designing for sophisticated, data-intensive business systems (e.g., enterprise dashboards, ad management platforms, financial tools, SaaS products).

  • Ability to translate brand identity into complex business logic and intricate systems, making them feel lightweight, intuitive, and modern.

  • A strong understanding of information architecture and how to simplify complex workflows without sacrificing functionality.

Design & Technical Proficiency
  • Expert proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).

  • Experience contributing to and working within robust design systems.

  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to stakeholders.

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Brand Designer, Product Designer, or similar role focusing on UI/UX for complex web applications.

  • A strong portfolio is mandatory, demonstrating specific experience in:

    • Modernizing complex UI/UX (e.g., examples similar to the evolution of tools like Salesforce, Google Ads, or similar complex business platforms).

    • Translating brand language into system-level design/UI.
