Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and certified Epic Willow Analyst to join their team for a full time and fully remote opportunity located in the HST time zone.
The Epic Willow Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing the pharmacy information systems within the Epic platform. This individual is responsible for system design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory applications to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication management across the health system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Epic Willow Inpatient or Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
- 3+ years of Epic build and configuration experience within the Willow module, including record creation, formulary build, and order set development.
- Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory components, including medication dictionaries, order sets, preference lists, and decision support tools.
- Perform detailed build within Epic pharmacy records, including ERX, NDC, NDG, VCG, LMA, PRL, PHR, EFY, LPR, EMP, ECL, DEP, CRT, HRX, ETX, IDB, IDM, LPP, CER, EFQ, E2U, E2R, E2N, LQL, RXD, and WFE records.
- ???????Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and clinical informaticists to evaluate workflows, identify system enhancements, and implement evidence-based improvements that support patient safety and compliance.
- ???????Develop and maintain integration points between Epic Willow and third-party pharmacy systems such as Pyxis, Omnicell, IV workflow systems, and medication dispensing cabinets
- Participate in testing, validation, and change control processes for new functionality, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Remote but MUST be able to work HST time zone
